During the four months that they were with us we appreciated both the fact that they listened to our wishes and patiently provided advice on how they could be achieved. Communication was always clear and forthcoming, this includes Ben’s wife Nicole in Administration with all the paperwork involved. Ben also needed to liaise with other contractors on our job regarding the by-folds and a pergola and was always very professional even when co-ordination of the installations proved difficult. As well as Ben’s own team, his contractors were also professional and easy to get on with. He provided electricians, plumbers, tilers, etc. and was also able to help with suggestions regarding roofers, painters and landscape gardeners. It was really a one stop shop! Ben and the team were always punctual and kept us informed regarding scheduling and delays which will inevitably happen on a big job. Ben, Nicole and the team were fantastic and went above and beyond with our renovation. From first consultation to finishing the job, Ben was always prompt, responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Valuable advice was also given where needed to keep us on track and ensure we were keeping to what we wanted to achieve. He and his team worked with us to complete our Reno in several stages. When they discovered a rotten bearer they shuffled other jobs around and replaced it in time for our new flooring to be laid. Ben and his team were punctual and their work was spot on. They dealt with the old lathe and plaster and were pleased to incorporate an original sliding door in our butlers pantry. From our first meeting with Ben we felt that we were in good hands. His quotation for our reno job of two bathrooms and an Euro laundry came in promptly, was clear and detailed. Luckily Ben was ready to start work very soon after and we didn't hesitate to give Bennic Homes the go ahead. Ben was a delight to work with from beginning to end. I went to him with a head full of ideas, a rough sketch of a plan and the finished result is a home that is both beautiful to live in and finished to the highest standard, I couldn't be happier. Odd things that inevitably arise in a renovation were treated as a challenge rather than a problem and solutions were always offered. Likewise the attention to detail and pride in the work they do by his plumber, electrician and tiler made the entire experience seamless. We are new to the area (Bentleigh East) so jumped online to look for a local a reputable builder to help with some issues with our newly purchased post-war weatherboard house. At first, Ben and his team came in install a manhole to assess why there were some cracks in some of our walls, and identified that the previous vendors had removed a wall without supporting it properly. We chose to go with Bennic homes to reinforce the walls, replace a supporting beam, and also install some new stumps. We are extremely happy with the end result, and Ben and his team were professional from the initial inspection right through to the finished product. They were very easy to interact with, very friendly, and communicated extremely well at every step. It has been a pleasure to have Ben and the Bennic homes at our house, and we look forward to hitting them up for our next project!

Ben kept his word and promises, always punctual, friendly and professional. He was very organised and communicated very well and openly about all aspects of the job. Bennic Homes did carpentry work at my house by replacing my old weatherboards and put in a new laundry door (cut the weatherboard and fitted in a new door). The team cleaned up well afterwards. I also found his advice about my renovations helpful and insightful.

I don't generally write reviews, but with Ben and Jyle from Bennic homes I decided to share my experience with people who may require the same sort of services that I was looking for. I needed a built-in gas fire to be removed and the resulting hole in the wall repaired. Ben and Jyle did a fantastic job with the removal and then framing and plastering the new wall. They carried out plaster repairs on other areas of the house. All work was perfectly done and at an extremely reasonable cost. These guys are perfectionists. They do a fantastic job so if you're looking to build, or renovate a house or as in my case, doing repairs and maintenance you won't find better and more committed professionals.

Ben was a pleasure from start to finish. Not only did he produce high end quality work, he was a breeze to liase with, as all communications were kept throughout the project. I called Ben on a friend's recommendation when I needed a repair to the fascia and roof of my 1920's house. He came past my place after work the same day and was very helpful and clear about what needed to be done. He emailed me a quote later that night. It was very reasonable. Communication was great, he slotted us in pretty quickly, and came exactly when promised. The work he did was really great, it matches in perfectly, and is solid. Much better than some piecemeal repairs done over the last 100 years! I won't hesitate to get Bennic Homes next time.
